***DD & SWDLGA Announces 2010 Meg Nunn Salver Inter-District Team***
The 2010 Meg Nunn Salver Inter-Disrict Event has a stong presence of Toowoomba Golf Club members on the team. The selection panel has chosen Carmel Macdermott, Leanne Palmer, Jamie Shine, Pam White and Margie Richards (whose home club is City Golf Club) and Dana Arndt (from Gatton Golf Club) to comprise the team of the six players representing the district. The Meg Nunn Salver is being played at Indooroopilly Golf Club beginning 6 September.
***TGC Women Victorious at District Championships***
The District Championships were recently held in Roma. Congratulations to the following women for their achievements: Pam White was victorious in taking out the Veteran’s Championship. In the Veteran’s Champion of Champions - Margie Richards won the Silver Division and Lois Nissen was successful in winning the Bronze 1 Division.

The Medal of Medals is scheduled to be played on Sunday 31 October. The following women have been successful this year and should mark their calendars in order to participate in this honour board event:

*** Braiswick Trophy ***
Congratulations to Carmel Macdermott and Ross Leamon for the reaching the finals of the Braiswick Trophy. The final was played on Sunday 8 August. It was an excellent match which went to the 17th hole where Ross Leamon defeated Carmel Macdermott 2 and 1.
**QUEENSLAND WOMEN”S FOURSOMES CHAMPIONSHIP**
CONGRATULATIONS to Trudy Dunne and Nancy Young for winning the Division 2 Best Gross which was played at TGC on Sunday 1 August. CONGRATULATIONS also goes to to Marion Ellevsen and Lyn Morgan for winning the Division 2 Best Nett.
*** Adam Falconer Pennants ***
The Adam Falconer Pennant Team continues to play well. The standings after five rounds are as follows:
City - 24 1/2, TGC 23 1/2, Borneo Barracks 17 1/2, Stanthorpe 11 1/2, Warwick 11, Clifton & Oakey 8 1/2 The final two rounds are being played at Stanthorpe on Friday 13 August and Warwick on Friday 13 September.
